  Students will gain valuable insights on how the ideas and teachings of religions and philosophies have shaped the way the ancient lived and organised themselves. This thematic tour will encourage students to ponder over various questions about the beginnings and evolution of religions and philosophies that still impact us in Asia today.

Discovery Series Workshops

• Discovering History Through Artefacts
  Kindle a deeper interest in history as students objects on display and learn how to answer source-based questions.
  
  Note: This programme is targeted specifically towards Secondary 1. Worksheets for students will be provided during the workshop.

• Discover Your Roots Through Shadow Puppetry
  Students come face to face with commonalities in shadow puppetry performances that run through various Asian cultures. The hands-on workshop will get them to question, 'What brings us together as Singaporeans?

• Speak Out Loud! A Museum Guiding Programme
  Hone your students' presentation and language skills as they train to become museum guides. Students will get acquainted with interesting museum objects and learn how to pick out fun facts about them and present them in an engaging manner.

  Note: Also available in Mandarin. Notes will be provided during the training.
